How I do my tarot readings

Since I am new to tarot, I am mostly reading cards for myself. I pull 3-4 cards and am mostly looking at how to connect each card to the other. I haven't quite learned all of the card meanings, in fact I'm really nowhere close! I'm using the Biddy Tarot site to read about each card since they have the best information! I'm hoping to get her Ultimate Guide soon!

I don't really have a ritual that I use for reading tarot. Most of the time I'm reading when I'm watching TV! I don't like to really sit down and only read. I prefer to multi-task and I like the background noise. As far as I've read through tarot blogs and websites, there's really no wrong way to read cards! Reading cards calls for your intuition and I like to use my intuition to connect the cards.

My next step after I feel comfortable connecting cards is to start asking the tarot deck questions and really start to delve deeper into connecting. I feel very close to my tarot deck. I'm using a Rider-Waite deck I actually bought off Amazon used. I bought them a couple years ago and never really used them. I've used them off and on but this time I feel a calling to really read them. I felt drawn to them when I was in a bad relationship. They were really a light. Even though I didn't play with them much, I felt more at ease when they were with me.

My favorite resource to learn about tarot is Biddy Tarot! I'm hoping to join the tarot community soon and I am really excited about it. I decided to not do the certification with Biddy Tarot this year because I don't feel that I'm quite ready to delve that seriously into tarot yet. She said that she may reopen the program in mid 2018 and I'm thinking of doing it then. That will give me time to save up for the program as well! It's about $1,000. I'm not sure if I plan on taking tarot reading professionally but I want to do the certification just for me and my own journey.
